If you're going for entertainment, ride the train, see the chickens, or a picnic this is the place for you and your family! I was highly disappointed in the boat ride and tour of the swamp itself. The 45 minute boat ride would have been over in 10 minutes had our tour guide not have stopped every 5 minutes to talk. It also never felt like we were in the swamp, there were signs and docks throughout the small little circle we made. Our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. MUST get there before 2pm or you will not have time to walk the trails and ride the boat and they WILL literally walk you off their property on time. Last year we toward the swamp with Okefenokee Adventures which does not have all the extra entertainment but for seeing the swamp and significantly more alligators this is a much better option.

This place is terrific. By itself, the unique foliage is worth the trip if you’re in area. However, I think the prospect of walking by wild alligators, the train rides, and the boat tours are enough for anyone to enjoy. Go during late fall, winter, or early (March) spring unless you hot weather.

Kind of expensive at 27 dollars plus tax per person, but still cool. Got some decent pics of alligators and tried alligator meat for the first time. The boat ride was fun, so definitely do that.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. There was a bus full of children on a field trip and the staff had everything arranged so that it didn't interfer with our tours. Food and service at the snack shack is first rate and awesome. Would definitely go back and recommend!

Had fun here great for family trip or couple can hold baby alligator. The alligator on a stick was OK tasted like pork chops. Loved the swamp ride. Friendly staff
