It's directly across from my jobsite. Clean cut, classy, and quiet
The location was okay but a little difficult to find the entrance to. The checkin process was very fast and hassle free, plus they offer free wifi and complimentary breakfast. The front desk clerk was polite and courtesy to us and was informative. The room we stayed in was wonderful, the thermostat was already on so you didnt have to worry about having to wait for the a/c to cool the room. This room had 2 queen size beds, a mini fridge, large desk, telephone, alarm clock, microwave, flat screen TV, and a spacious bathroom. The whole lobby area and the floor I stayed on had nicely cleaned floors. The other guest from what I gathered were more from traveling salesperson to bussiness owners and entrepreneurs. Checkout was just as easy as the checkin process and took maybe 2 seconds to hand the key card over and that was it. I only stayed a night but from my experience I would refer this Hotel to anyone traveling or visiting the waycross area.
The room and accommodations were wonderful. The pet friendly room was a huge plus, and the stay was enjoyable. Unfortunately, there was some problems with our room keys and we ended up locked out twice in our four day stay. On the bright side, the staff were helpful and understanding and we were never locked out for long! Overall, the beds were comfortable, the shower worked well, and the continental breakfast was above average, making for a good stay.
Stayed her during hurricane Irma. Between my husband and I packing I left some of my clothes in the closet. I called and the manger said policy was to put it in lost and found with our room number. When she checked they were not there. The staff admitted to taking my clothes and said they would return them. No one ever returned my calls. I always had to call for a update. Then there was a new manager so I had to explain again. Staff supposedly returned them but again didn’t report to anyone or label them properly again so they were again stolen or thrown away. Again after repeated calls. Torian the GM would not return my calls or give manager permission to reimburse me or our stay. It’s now November and still no resolution after calling corporate. They say that it is privately owned and find the owner by chamber of commerce. What BS! We were in the the middle of a possible disaster n they were completely full. They can’t afford to pay me for all my dress clothes that was worth more than my stay that their staff stole? That they admitted was handled incorrectly? By this time the same staff doesn’t work there anymore per the manager and the message I get from the GM Torian is that it’s not his fault I left it and if I come this way again he will give me a discount! Really professional! Will never stay or recommend this place again!!!!!
I had serious issues with this hotel. The 2nd night of my family reunion, I allowed my grandchildren to stay with me while their parents fellowshipped with one another. The pull out bed was broken and after 2 calls and 2:00 am I was told they could only move me to another room. When I got the boys settled in my bed a spider crawls one of my grandsons and he freaks out wakes up terrified. The following morning I go to the front desk, explain what happened and they said they would contact the manager but manager apparently was not available. They told me I would have to call him Monday. After I explained he should be calling me they said he would call me on Monday. Monday no call. When I tried to follow up, the front desk supervisor offers me a discount on my next stay because the owners do not refund money. WHAT THE ????? REALLY???? By the way the place could use a facelift, carpet very dirty, shower head broken, inside pool but water extremely cold (too cold to swim). The hot tub was refreshing and breakfast was cool.
