We traveled to the area to run from Hurricane Irma. We found this restaurant by just driving by and noticed ALL the cars that were there...we knew it had to be good. I go the coconut shrimp..mac and cheese hush puppies and salad bar. The shrimp is fabulous..the breading is flacky...the Cole slaw and macaroni salads are truly the best. My husband had the salad bar...excellent. This restaurant truly is terrific!!!! The service is excellent also!!
The employees are very nice there but the seafood was a HUGE let down! I ordered the fried shrimp and each piece was about the size of a penny. When you pay $20 for a plate of fried shrimp you expect the shrimp to be big and plump. My baked potato was hard also. The salad bar was good but that's about all I liked there.
I'm giving a 4 because of the salad bar. But......I ordered the prime rib dinner, and it was quite possible the worst I've ever had. Over cooked and no flavor. Well, it did taste like an Arbys roast beef sandwich.....sort of. But I'll be back because everyone has an bad day once in a while. The waitress, without hesitation offered to remove the prime rib from our ticket. That was not my intention but she took care of us. I will definitely be back. Good service is hard to come by, but Chelsea did great.
Fried pickles were wonderful! Service was very nice. Decent salad bar. Reasonable prices.
I have to rate the service high. The waitresses are on que. Always friendly and smiling. I love the fried oysters' their my favorite. We always have three big birthday gatherings there every year. But the last time the fried food was a little to greasy. I don't know what happened. I guess the cook was having a off day. But through it all I would still eat there. Like I said the oysters are great. And the salad bar is well worth the trip. Be seeing y'all again real soon. Keep up the good work.
